  1. nice looking house. very exciting to see the transformation. i'm also building with cg. did you hire a private building consultant/inspector? if so, were there defects identified and how did cg rectify them?

  2. Thanks, we didn't get an inspector as my husbands a lock up and fix carpenter and cg allowed him to do the carpentry. He picked up a few things on the way and spoke directly to the supervisor. Although it was myself that noticed the window was 100mm out in the ensuite, just looked silly with the double basins. Told the supervisor and it was fixed in about a month. We did 2 walk rounds pre-handover and just told the supervisor everything we noticed, some things weren't done like paint removal on the shadow gap to the bench but that's easy remedied. They did change the bench twice due to colour differences, which I thought they may argue but just said yep I'll change it. The build was really smooth, no big issues at all. Hope you have a similar building journey xx
